| dc.description.abstract | Colombia has found in the promotion of housing an essential tool to foster the well-being of its citizens and stimulate economic growth. Since 2015, housing subsidies have not only enabled families to become homeowners, but have also boosted a strategic sector for the GDP: construction. However, in a decision that surprised many, the Ministry of Housing announced the suspension of the "Mi Casa Ya" program for the year 2025. This program had represented hope for numerous Colombians. The news caused alarm among the civil works sector, business owners, and potential homebuyers. The consequences of this measure will not be minor. For this reason, it has been decided to conduct a case study to analyze the financial impact that this suspension will have on the upcoming housing project by Ehz Construcciones S.A.S., named Monte Verde, in the city of Popayán. This analysis will cover budgetary adjustments, financial sensitivity to market changes, sales projections under the new scenario, and the evolution of key financial indicators, aiming to offer a realistic outlook. Therefore, this study will adopt a mixed-method approach: combining quantitative data focused on financial indicators with a qualitative analysis to interpret the context. At the same time, a descriptive approach will be employed to detail the immediate and medium-term impacts. Given that this is a recent situation, the study will also include an exploratory phase. | spa |
