Abstract:
In this paper, a review is made of the financial situation of the EPS present in the country during the period 2015 to 2019 and of the financial situation of the Indigenous Association of Cauca (AIC) as a Company Promoting Indigenous Health EPS-I during the same period. period, since during this period AIC EPS-I presented negative figures in equity (years 2017 and 2018) and the administrative and financial strategies applied by AIC EPS-I are evaluated in the face of the crisis situation and how these strategies allowed this EPS-I continue to operate and regain its financial stability.

En el presente trabajo se hace una revisión de la situación financiera de las EPS presentes en el país durante el periodo 2015 a 2019 y de la situación financiera de Asociación Indígena del Cauca (AIC) como Empresa Promotora de Salud Indígena EPS-I durante el mismo periodo, ya que durante este periodo AIC EPS - I presentó cifras negativas en el patrimonio ( años 2017 y 2018) y se evalúan las estrategias administrativas y financieras aplicadas por AIC EPS-I frente a la situación de crisis y como estas estrategias le permitieron a esta EPS-I seguir operando y recuperar su estabilidad financiera.
